Reading, 12th October 2020 – Invenio Business Solutions is delighted to announce that it has won the Excellence in Emerging Markets award at the annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 event. The awards ceremony, which was held virtually, follows on from the league table results that had been published earlier this year.
The 11th annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table was published on 16th February 2020, where Invenio ranked number 29. The awards dinner had been postponed from a planned event in April, to a virtual one that was held on 5th October 2020.
With 290 guests in attendance, the event brought together mid-market private businesses in the UK with the fastest growing international sales over the past two years. Special awards sponsored by HSBC UK, DHL Express and Oracle NetSuite were presented, including the Excellence in Emerging Markets award.
Guests were welcomed by Jane Galvin, head of corporate banking at HSBC UK, who said: “The International Track 200 awards are designed to celebrate and recognise the success of businesses that take everything that is brilliant about the UK and spread it around the world.”
The Excellence in Emerging Markets award, sponsored by HSBC UK, was presented by Ian Tandy, managing director of trade and receivables finance, to Arun Bala, CEO of Invenio Business Solutions. As an IT consultancy, with offices across 11 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Mauritius and India, Invenio’s overseas sales have nearly quadrupled in the last two years, to over £20m in 2019.
Upon receiving the award, Arun Bala commented: “I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of Invenio and wish to thank HSBC UK.
